Hello, and welcome to "Host with Lumanesence!"

This is essentially a new project where I attempt to run my own server every day from 9AM to 9PM while documenting everything that happens in the long run as it happens! It's a thing to take my mind off of the endless summer breaks that seem to go nowhere! Before I start, here's the gist of everything:

 

The hardware for the server is nothing to ride home about, yet at the same time, it doesn't really need to be since it's a project, not a serious server. It's a simple OptiPlex 790 that I chucked 16GB of RAM and 1.3TB worth of hard drives into, with Proxmox VE running as the base operating system. This project was originally planned out to be just another bog-standard Openmediavault server; don't get me wrong, I have still got Openmediavault installed on a VM in Proxmox, but that's not the main part of it at this minute in time.
